Pacific Shores

A sweeping landscape composed of wetlands, hillsides, and salt ponds skirt a cluster of 11 mid-rise buildings, situated adjacent to the Port of Redwood City. The Pacific Shores Center—once an industrial hub for timber milling and ship construction, is now a business center that’s home to a range of tech companies.

With Media Objectives overseeing the art direction, wayfinding, and custom designs, so we decided to serve as curator, reaching out to Global Experience Design a local artists group, Thinkwell a production agency, Iontank an interactive studio, Antlre Creative a custom artist, Framer’s Workshop for custom framing, and Muse for custom designs. All in all totalling over 1000 colorful pieces of art commissioned by local designers and bay area artists filling the space.

By embracing the building’s existing structure and celebrating its unique location, Pacific Shores aims at fostering a vibrant and creative atmosphere, all the while conveying a sense of comfort to enhance employee wellness and productivity.
